seasonal affective disorder

The people have given up their coats.
Not figuratively, trying to represent new life or any thing,
and not for any nonprofit kind of cause,
but because Minnesota Weather has become a flirtatious tease.
She wore away the winter last week and showed us glimpses of spring. and the people followed suit. They dawned their shorts and thought that the parka was a thing of the past.
Not so.
Now winter has fallen again
but this time it has intruded on the spring time temperatures, confusing the masses.
Nevertheless, people are dressing as if their mood can change the weather. flip flop this and that. But Lady Winter is far too persistent to let a little skin exposure sway her patterns.
She's a stubborn gal.
Such is life. We all adapt and work with the resources that we have. For example, if Minnesotans are not given the sun than they create it for themselves.
Such is the reason I'm now a card bearing member of a place called 'Darque Tan', despite the fact that it is both unnatural and out of character.

most recently

most recently i have been going to applebees with freshman, playing outside in the changing seasons, watching Luke get pranked several times a week, moved the toystore into new space, and hitching rides on motorcycles.
